Frequently Asked Questions
What’s your wedding photography style?
Anybody can point a camera at a group of people and get them to say “cheese”. But for me, it’s all about making people feel comfortable enough to capture their most natural selves.
That’s why I love socialising with guests and building a sense of ease with your nearest and dearest.
And to give you the best of both worlds, I’ll create a mixture of these natural images with the must-have formal shots for a varied final product.
Can you travel?
Yes! Although the majority of my work is based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds. I love to travel, and no destination is too far. Whether your wedding is on a beach in Bali or in a castle in the Cotswolds, I’d love to be your photographer.
Do you offer videography?
Yes! If you'd like your wedding filmed I can offer a couple of options. The first is a highlights reel of the best bits of your day some music of your choice. The second is a highlights video plus full ceremony and speeches. You can find examples of my work here
Do we receive a mixture of colour and black and white images?
Yes, I’ll provide a selection of both colour and black and white photographs. It’s all about creating images suitable to you, so if you have any specific preferences, we can go through these during our consultation meetings prior to the wedding. I enjoy getting to know my clients and producing images that you love is so important to me, so if you have any special requests, just let me know!
What equipment do you use?
I use a range of professional Sony equipment, an assortment of top of the range lenses and various external off camera flash equipment. So no matter the weather, I’ll always create striking images.
Are the photographs copyrighted?
Yes, I will own the copyright so I can use them for advertising and marketing purposes (with your consent, of course) – however you have full licence to print and share.
How many photographs am I likely to receive?
I aim to give my clients between 400-600 finished digital images. They will be narrowed down to ensure you see the best of the best. Once you’re happy with the selected pictures I will edit these one by one to ensure each image is of the highest quality.
Is a deposit required?
I take a £400 booking fee to hold the date, and the final balance will need to be paid two weeks before your wedding day. This can be paid via bank transfer or cash.
Do you create photo albums?
Yes. Wedding albums are an optional extra and are finished to the highest quality paper. I can provide samples that we can go through in our pre-wedding consultation.
Wedding albums are the perfect way to beautifully showcase your favourite images, but can also be done to your own specific style and tell the story of your wedding.
How do you photograph in bad weather / winter weddings?
I won’t let the bad weather put a dampener on your day. All my equipment is weather-proof and I am highly-skilled with off camera lighting, which is vital in the winter months.
